“ Hands down the best pulled pork BBQ sandwich I have had yet. And the wings were absolutely delicious. This place should be #1 on your list when visiting Sumter. ”
“ The restaurant is in beautiful downtown Sumter SC. The decor is rustic distressed which is done in a charming chic way. Everything is clean and comfortable. We ordered shrimp and fries and a black bean burger. The food was delicious and the service was great. The menu has a lot to choose from and everything looks delicious. I loved this place and the town. ”

The old wall from whatever building here in Downtown Sumter is reflected and shown off in the men’s bathroom. I find that to be cool and historic. Great food. Truly would come back here to eat again and again and 10/10 recommend to others who live in Sumter and are coming through Sumter. Some of the best waitresses Sumter has to offer as well. And great music. I am not sure who is making the playlist at this location or on that day, but yay to throwbacks. “ I got the fish sandwich. One choice of salmon or mahi. It was probably about 4" high! The quality and thickness of the mahi was unbelievable! It was grilled to a crispy (no breading) finish and light, flaky and steaming hot. If I'm ever again in Sumpter, SC you'd better believe I'll be at Sidebar eating a delicious mahi sandwich.
